The Tour
(scroll down for day by day itinerary and booking details and click on pics to enlarge!)

Once again England Specials invite you to step back in time and revel in a magical motoring nostalgia tour.  We meet for an overnight stay in London and then set the mood with four days touring in beautiful and historic Devon and Cornwall in a classic car before revelling in two days at Glorious Goodwood on Lord March's superb estate, surely one of the most beautiful motor racing circuits in the world!  We end with an overnight stay in London

Once a year, for few magic days in late summer, one small but beautiful corner of England is transported back in time to the “golden days” of our memories.

Goodwood motor racing circuit and former World War 2 fighter aerodrome revives the sights, sounds and smells of that glorious age when the only jet in an aeroplane was in the carburettor, racing and sports cars were beautiful and no lady would step out without hat.

The experience of Goodwood is almost impossible to describe in mere words and comparisons are irrelevant because there is no other meeting like it!

You will experience a weekend of the most fiercely-contested racing by some of the world’s most fabulous pre-1967 cars, air displays by vintage aircraft and the charming atmosphere generated by period costume and period support vehicles (even the police have appropriate uniform, cars and motor bikes!)

and to complete the perfection, a glittering list of past and present great names from the world of motor racing and entertainment will be competing.  For more information about cars, drivers, atmosphere, fashions, etc. click this link:  http://www.goodwood.co.uk/revival.

England Specials have again reserved excellent seats in Lavant Stand with super views over St Mary’s and both of the Lavant bends – where so much of the action takes place.

As a relaxing prelude to the thrills of Goodwood, your dream trip takes you to beautiful 14th century Dartington Hall in Devon for a classic car self-drive tour exploration of Dartmoor National Park, the South Hams, Plymouth and the stunning coastline of the area. Each driver will have a personalised A4 program guide and route book to provide full navigation information and also to keep as a wonderful souvenir of your drives.

England Specials expert staff will accompany the tour at all times.
Andy (our England Specials guide) was extremely knowledgeable about English history, botany, beer, motorcars and everything else in between.
All drivers will have a personalised A4 program guide and route book to provide full navigation information and also a wonderful souvenir of your drives.
